In this program, PreK players will be taught basic soccer skills and drills each week. The focus for PreK Soccer is to develop fundamental skills in a non-competitive environment. Parent participation is required to support players.
Who: This program is open to players ages 3-5 enrolled in PreK for the 2025-2026 school year (not in kindergarten).
Fee: $50.00/residents; $60.00/non-residents
Schedule: This program will be held every Saturday beginning on September 13th, 2025 through October 25th, 2025. No soccer Saturday, October 11th.
Location and Time: St. Louis Field at 9:00am.
Equipment Needed: Shin Guards are required. Cleats are recommended.

During the season, Kinder Soccer sessions on Saturdays will be divided into an instructional skills and drills portions where players will learn soccer fundamentals and end each session with an introductory pick-up scrimmage each week where players will learn the basics of game play. Volunteer coaches will be required in this program to lead drills and support scrimmages.

The 2025 season format for the Grades 1-6 divisions will include weekday practices and weekend games. Teams are determined by grade and gender, with three divisions for 1st & 2nd grade, 3rd & 4th grade, and 5th & 6th grade. Games will be scheduled with other regional communities including Saco, OOB and Kennebunkport/Arundel. 5th/6th grade teams may also travel to Gorham and South Portland.
Season Dates: The 2025 fall recreation soccer season will run from August 25th through October 25th.
Practice Days:
The Girls' soccer program will practice on Tuesday's & Thursday's and will play games on Saturday's.
The Boys' soccer program will practice on Monday's & Wednesday's and will play games on Saturday's.
Practice Times and Locations:
Boys and Girls in Grades 1-4 will practice from 5:30pm-6:30pm at St. Louis Field.
Boys and Girls in Grades 5/6 will practice from 5:30pm-6:45pm at Martel Field at Rotary Park.
Games: Weekend game schedule is TBD, with a tentative start date of September 14th.

Equipment Needed: Shin Guards are required for all divisions. Cleats are recommended for Grades 1-4 teams, and are required for 5th/6th grade.
