Join us this summer to learn to surf and catch the wave of this lifelong outdoor year round sport! 

Biddeford Recreation is excited to offer this camp this summer in partnership with the Aquaholics Surf Shop!  Camps will be held at Gooches Beach in Kennebunk, home to the partner organization's location. Dates are multi session offerings and each week a separate registration is required to select the dates you want to reserve.  No experience is necessary to join this fun outdoor adventure at sea and all participants ages 8 and up are welcome to register! 

This a contractual program offered with the Aquaholics Surf Shop.

Program Details
  • Instructors from Aquaholics Surf Shop
  • Please print and sign the waiver form and bring to the first lesson.
  • If you have questions regarding surf conditions or weather during the week of your camp, call Aquaholics at 967- 8650.
  • Classes will be held in the rain unless there is thunder or lightning.
  • Cost includes rentals for a wetsuit, softboard, and qualified instruction.
  • Participants may use their own board only if it's a soft board.
  • All participants should bring a towel, sunscreen and dry clothing for after the lesson, as well as a snack and filled water bottle.
  • Separate weekly sessions are offered for summer 2025.
