We have two sizes of youth snowshoes as well as adult sized snowshoes to lend for winter exploring in your backyard or a local park. Grab a pair for your kids and enjoy this awesome family outdoor winter activity.
This program is for residents and City of Biddeford Staff only.
Snowshoe rental program guidelines
- Rental Info: Rentals are available in one-week increments, Monday-Sunday, with dates noted below. Families may request to rent snowshoes more than once during the season, however we do ask to please limit your use to a week maximum, non-consecutive rental period.
- Who: Snowshoes are available for residents and City of Biddeford staff only.
- Weekly rental fees PER USER: $5.00 - City of Biddeford employees see Employee Wellness Program info for rates/details.
- Please use the activity below for weekly rentals and add to your cart FOR EACH USER that will be renting snowshoes.
- Pick Up: In-person pickup is required at the Recreation Department Main Office during office hours Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm. Located at the J. Richard Martin Community Center, 189 Alfred Street.
- Returns: Make returns the Monday after your rental to the Recreation Department Main Office.
- Availability: Limited amounts of snowshoes are available, please call first for availability 283-0841
