Earth Day 2025
Biddeford Recreation and the Biddeford Public Works Parks Team are collaborating this year to present our annual Earth Day Parks and Trails Clean Up event in Biddeford! 

Join us on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from 9:00am-12:00pm to help prepare our outdoor spaces for the spring season.  This community event brings together staff from city departments and volunteers from several local organizations. Information about tasks is listed below and registration for specific parks is available using the activities listed below - there is something for everyone, and all ages and abilities are welcome!

Earth Day Clean Up Volunteer Info
  • Equipment to bring: work gloves, rakes, shovels, hand tools
  • Equipment provided: Bags provided to all volunteers for litter pickup. Some tools will be available to help with raking flower beds, pickup around the playgrounds and along the trails
  • Duties: raking, weeding, light trail tree trimming, trash and litter pick up
  • Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
  • Deadline: Please preregister online before April 1st to get your Earth Day T-Shirt!
  • Morning breakfast offered to all participants at the J. Richard Martin Community Center from 8am-9am. Additional details will be added as we get closer to the event.
