January 2025 Lunch and Learn - Strength, Balance, Flexibility and Quality of Life through the Winter!
Speaker: Andrew P. Genova, PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT, CSCS - Managing Partner/Physical Therapist at MVPT Biddeford
Topic: Physical fitness and aging should go hand-in-hand. Being able to play with grandchildren, going out for a walk in the park and being able to maintain the quality of life you want has a direct relationship to our physical abilities. I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with expertise in orthopedic care, balance and fall prevention and I am acutely aware of the challenges that affect our aging population. The Winter months are perfect for staying cozy in the house near a warm fire, but the inherent sedentary nature of the Winter can also make the upcoming Spring and Summer to come less invigorating than we would like. Let me tell you about ways you can maintain your strength, balance, flexibility and quality of life through the Winter to enjoy all of life’s pleasures in the years to come!
Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
