Biddeford Recreation is excited to share that we are collaborating with new Biddeford dance studio, Dirigo Conservatory of Movement to offer dance lessons for K-5 students at the J. Richard Martin Community Center!

This year we are offering options for 5-week dance sessions that students may elect to sign up for to attend during Cub Care and that is also open for non-Cub Care participants to register as well. These sessions offer a traditional dance class held in the Community Center auditorium led by Dirigo Conservatory of Movement instructors, and are a great introduction to a dance program with a shorter time commitment.

K-2 Session – creative movement dance class
• Instructor: Morgan Sanborn, Director of Dirigo Conservatory of Movement
• Day/Time: Tuesdays, from 2:30-3:15pm
• Session 2: 1/14/25-2/11/25
• Session 3: 2/25/25-4/1/25

Grades 3-5 Session – featuring an introduction to dance styles including ballet, jazz, and contemporary
• Instructor: Morgan Sanborn, Director of Dirigo Conservatory of Movement
• Day/Time: Tuesdays, from 3:15-4:15pm
• Session 2: 1/14/25-2/11/25
• Session 3: 2/25/25-4/1/25

Enrollment info for Dance with Dirigo programs
To enroll: please register using the activities below.
Session fee: $75.00 per session
Max: Each session can enroll a maximum of 12 students. To accommodate as many participants as we can, families may enroll their student in up to two sessions to start. These are open to both Cub Care participants and other students in the community.
