Join the Bolder Adults program for a trip to the Desert of Maine in Freeport!

The Desert of Maine is a weird and wonderful place! A self-guided experience takes you to interpretive signs and exhibits that cover the history, geology, and ecology of Desert. Explore fascinating exhibits like the Buried Spring House and 1800s Farmhouse museum and take in the natural beauty of the dunes and surrounding forest.

Meet at Biddeford Marden's parking lot for all trips. Please arrive 15 minutes before the trip departure time. Park next to the garage and road, away from Marden’s Store.
