Join our thriving Biddeford Youth Competition Cheering Program!  Registration extended through October 31, 2025! In this program, coaches will introduce the fundamentals of competition cheering, building upon these as athletes advance to new divisions, and build on choreography and routines as the season progresses. Biddeford Recreation is pleased to welcome back returning Head Coaches Catrina Wade, Hannah Beaupre, and Adrianna Miller! Combined, our coaches bring over two decades of youth coaching experience to our program. Supporting our program will also be a dedicated group of volunteer junior coaches.This season we are offering divisions for Pre-K to 8th grade. Each team can accommodate up to 20 participants (minimum of 10 required per team to hold the division). The season runs from October 2025 through early April 2026 and includes three to five competitions or exhibitions for each team in winter/spring, depending on division. See below for details on this exciting season!

Its practice increases flexibility, coordination, strength and balance, as well as build self-confidence and positive character. Capoeira encourages students to have fun, be playful, and express themselves through movement & music with benefits to both physical and intellectual development. Students will learn movements consisting of kicks and defenses, as well as sing songs in Portuguese and play instruments. Capoeira enables students to build endurance, agility, flexibility, balance, coordination, and rhythm all while learning about the culture of Brazil.Join us for our first introductory six-week session in April 2026 - space is limited so don't wait to register!

Biddeford Recreation Presents: Conditioning with Collective Motion Arts CenterThis class is a gentle introduction to lightly weighted cross-training in a supportive atmosphere! This conditioning class focuses on strength building, increasing mobility, and cross-training to prevent injuries. The class will target the full body with different levels of intensity to accommodate different levels of training and abilities.With upbeat music and an encouraging atmosphere, this class s designed to leave you feeling good!
