Make a difference in your community and JOIN US in summer 2026 for a fun seasonal employment experience!

Biddeford Recreation offers the following summer employment options:

1. Summer Camp Counselors: June-August 2026.  Eligible applicants must have completed their freshman year of high school prior to the start of camp.  We also have Camp Director and Program Leader openings for 2026.

2. Beach and Rotary Park Lifeguards: end of May-early September 2026.  This year we have opening for Beach Lifeguards and a Head Beach Lifeguard.  Applicants must be 16 years old or older and either lifeguard certified or have the ability to become certified before the start of the season.  Upon successful certification course and completing the full lifeguarding season, Biddeford Recreation will reimburse candidates for the cost of certification.  FMI: please contact Biddeford Recreation Coordinator and Aquatics Director, Alisha Keezer

3. Beach Parking Lot Attendants: end of May-early September 2026.  Applicants must be 18 years old or older.

4. Field Maintenance Crew: April-September 2026.  Applicants must be 18 years or older.

5. NEW! Park Steward: April-September 2026.  Applicants must be 18 years or older.
