Make a difference in your community and JOIN US in school year 2026-2027 as an after school Cub Care Counselor!

Biddeford Recreation will be looking for after school counselors for next school year to work in our Cub Care program to support students in grades K-5!

After School Counselors: Program runs late August 2026-mid June 2027.  Eligible applicants must have completed their freshman year of high school prior to the start of the program.  The program is offered Monday-Friday and held at the J. Richard Martin Community Center, located at 189 Alfred Street.

We offer flexible staff schedules:
Full Program Shift: staff may work 1:30-5:30pm to cover the entire program shift
Part-time Program Shift: student staff may work from 3:30-5:30pm. Transportation options are typically available from Biddeford High School if needed; details to follow in late-August 2026.
Days Per Week: staff may work all five days per week, while others may work periodic days of the week depending on their availability. 
Seasons: staff may work the entire school year or may work certain seasons depending on their sport seasons or semester course schedules.
