This is a fun  activity that can be played by all ages. Pickleball is fun, social and friendly! The rules are fairly simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. Beginners are welcome to join us and learn the game!! Please contact Brian Dunphe for additional program information, 283-0841 Send an email inquiry. Whats it all about?The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a wiffle ball. It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

Hours are 12:00-6:00 for Early Release days. Teen Center is closed on days when school is not in session.All registration paperwork must be completed before attending. This is a free program provided by the City of Biddeford in support of its teens.  Available at the center are pool tables, air hockey, snack bar, board games, lounge area, video games and more. Special events and activities are also held at the center.

Yin/Yang Yoga is a practice that balances a slow paced Yin with a traditional Hatha Yoga. Yin is a passive cooling energy, whereas Yang is more dynamic and warming. This is a 1 hour class. We will start in Yang for warming up our body and releasing energy, then we will make our way to a more calming practice in Yin. Solo jazz dancing, also known as vernacular jazz dancing, is rooted in Black American traditional movements. This class will explore vintage and modern routines that use the authentic jazz steps common in Lindy Hop and swing dancing. You’ll be grooving to big band swing and traditional jazz music and having so much fun you’ll forget you’re actually exercising! Having some background in Lindy Hop or learning choreography will help you get the most out of this class, but all are welcome. Masks are optional but encouraged. Students should bring a water bottle and a change of shoes that are comfortable and not too sticky on the floor.

The Biddeford Men's Volleyball League will play at the Community Center Gym. The season will consist of regular season matches and a single elimination playoff tournament at the end. The entry fee includes referee, court set-up, game balls, awards, and playoff expenses. Matches for A-League are played on Tuesday evenings beginning in November and ending in April with the playoff tournament.

All Basketball players in Grades 3-4 & 5-6 have the opportunity to try out for a travel team. We will be playing in the Main Event Travel League through XL Sports. All players interested in playing on a Biddeford Recreation Travel Team are required to attend the evaluation night. Participants that do not make a team will be put on a recreational team.The fee is $145 which covers cost for referees, shooting shirts and any other expense that goes with playing in this league.$55 is due at registration and the remaining balance needs to be paid by December 2nd, 2023.No refunds will be available for anyone that makes team , but quits after teams have been announced.

Yin/Yang Yoga is a practice that balances a slow paced Yin with a traditional Hatha Yoga. Yin is a passive cooling energy, whereas Yang is more dynamic and warming. This is a 1 hour class. We will start in Yang for warming up our body and releasing energy, then we will make our way to a more calming practice in Yin. Solo jazz dancing, also known as vernacular jazz dancing, is rooted in Black American traditional movements. This class will explore vintage and modern routines that use the authentic jazz steps common in Lindy Hop and swing dancing. You’ll be grooving to big band swing and traditional jazz music and having so much fun you’ll forget you’re actually exercising! Having some background in Lindy Hop or learning choreography will help you get the most out of this class, but all are welcome. Masks are optional but encouraged. Students should bring a water bottle and a change of shoes that are comfortable and not too sticky on the floor.

Matches for A-League are played on Tuesday evenings beginning in November and ending in April with the playoff tournament.

Yin/Yang Yoga is a practice that balances a slow paced Yin with a traditional Hatha Yoga. Yin is a passive cooling energy, whereas Yang is more dynamic and warming. This is a 1 hour class. We will start in Yang for warming up our body and releasing energy, then we will make our way to a more calming practice in Yin. Solo jazz dancing, also known as vernacular jazz dancing, is rooted in Black American traditional movements. This class will explore vintage and modern routines that use the authentic jazz steps common in Lindy Hop and swing dancing. You’ll be grooving to big band swing and traditional jazz music and having so much fun you’ll forget you’re actually exercising! Having some background in Lindy Hop or learning choreography will help you get the most out of this class, but all are welcome. Masks are optional but encouraged. Students should bring a water bottle and a change of shoes that are comfortable and not too sticky on the floor.

Matches for A-League are played on Tuesday evenings beginning in November and ending in April with the playoff tournament.

The Biddeford Men's Volleyball League will play at the Community Center Gym. The season will consist of regular season matches and a single elimination playoff tournament at the end. Matches for A-League are played on Tuesday evenings beginning in November and ending in April with the playoff tournament.

Yin/Yang Yoga is a practice that balances a slow paced Yin with a traditional Hatha Yoga. Yin is a passive cooling energy, whereas Yang is more dynamic and warming. This is a 1 hour class. We will start in Yang for warming up our body and releasing energy, then we will make our way to a more calming practice in Yin. Solo jazz dancing, also known as vernacular jazz dancing, is rooted in Black American traditional movements. This class will explore vintage and modern routines that use the authentic jazz steps common in Lindy Hop and swing dancing. You’ll be grooving to big band swing and traditional jazz music and having so much fun you’ll forget you’re actually exercising! Having some background in Lindy Hop or learning choreography will help you get the most out of this class, but all are welcome. Masks are optional but encouraged. Students should bring a water bottle and a change of shoes that are comfortable and not too sticky on the floor.

The Biddeford Women's Volleyball Leagues play on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Matches are held in the Community Center Gym.  If you would like to play or get on the sub list please contact brian.dunphe@biddefordmaine.org
