Pickleball is a fun activity that can be played by all ages. The sport is fun, social and friendly! The rules are fairly simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. Beginners are welcome to join us and learn the game!! What's it all about?The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a wiffle ball. It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

Biddeford Recreation is excited to host a Boys Basketball Camp sponsored by Biddeford High School Boys Basketball! This multi-day skill development camp will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks, providing players with consistent opportunities to grow their game. The camp will focus on ball handling, rebounding, footwork, and big-man play, and we encourage players of all abilities to participate and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This year’s camp will be led by former Biddeford High School standouts Will Harriman and Travis Edgerton, both of whom went on to play college basketball. Each coach will lead one night per week, bringing their experience and knowledge to help the next generation of players improve and succeed. All sessions will take place at the J. Richard Martin Community Center.

Join us for a group paddling outing on the Saco River right here in the City of Biddeford!  This session includes some dry land instruction for those joining for the first time to learn more about equipment use, safety and paddling technique. We start our adventure at the Rotary Park with a short walk down the launch to get on the water. Keep your eyes peeled to catch a sighting of birds, fish, turtles and other wildlife along the banks of the Saco River, learn new skills, natural history, and meet new friends along the way.

Biddeford Recreation is excited to host a Boys Basketball Camp sponsored by Biddeford High School Boys Basketball! This multi-day skill development camp will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks, providing players with consistent opportunities to grow their game. The camp will focus on ball handling, rebounding, footwork, and big-man play, and we encourage players of all abilities to participate and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This year’s camp will be led by former Biddeford High School standouts Will Harriman and Travis Edgerton, both of whom went on to play college basketball. Each coach will lead one night per week, bringing their experience and knowledge to help the next generation of players improve and succeed. All sessions will take place at the J. Richard Martin Community Center.

Biddeford Recreation is ready for you to join us and hit the water with our beginner Stand Up Paddle Board group lessons! We have new equipment that you can use as part of your lesson.  The learning curve is quick as we start with basics and work towards more skills to build on. See what all the hype about this fun sport is about, dress for success and plan to get a little wet as we practice dismounting and getting on the boards! This program is designed for anyone who wants to learn about this fun outdoor sport. No need to be an athlete to do this; it's as easy as walking once you get a feel for it.  Sessions are held in early summer so you can use the skills you learn all throughout the season!

Pickleball is a fun activity that can be played by all ages. The sport is fun, social and friendly! The rules are fairly simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. Beginners are welcome to join us and learn the game!! What's it all about?The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a wiffle ball. It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

Biddeford Recreation is excited to host a Boys Basketball Camp sponsored by Biddeford High School Boys Basketball! This multi-day skill development camp will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks, providing players with consistent opportunities to grow their game. The camp will focus on ball handling, rebounding, footwork, and big-man play, and we encourage players of all abilities to participate and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This year’s camp will be led by former Biddeford High School standouts Will Harriman and Travis Edgerton, both of whom went on to play college basketball. Each coach will lead one night per week, bringing their experience and knowledge to help the next generation of players improve and succeed. All sessions will take place at the J. Richard Martin Community Center.

Join us for a group paddling outing on the Saco River right here in the City of Biddeford!  This session includes some dry land instruction for those joining for the first time to learn more about equipment use, safety and paddling technique. We start our adventure at the Rotary Park with a short walk down the launch to get on the water. Keep your eyes peeled to catch a sighting of birds, fish, turtles and other wildlife along the banks of the Saco River, learn new skills, natural history, and meet new friends along the way.

Biddeford Recreation is ready for you to join us and hit the water with our beginner Stand Up Paddle Board group lessons! We have new equipment that you can use as part of your lesson.  The learning curve is quick as we start with basics and work towards more skills to build on. See what all the hype about this fun sport is about, dress for success and plan to get a little wet as we practice dismounting and getting on the boards! This program is designed for anyone who wants to learn about this fun outdoor sport. No need to be an athlete to do this; it's as easy as walking once you get a feel for it.  Sessions are held in early summer so you can use the skills you learn all throughout the season!

Pickleball is a fun activity that can be played by all ages. The sport is fun, social and friendly! The rules are fairly simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. Beginners are welcome to join us and learn the game!! What's it all about?The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a wiffle ball. It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

Biddeford Recreation is excited to host a Boys Basketball Camp sponsored by Biddeford High School Boys Basketball! This multi-day skill development camp will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks, providing players with consistent opportunities to grow their game. The camp will focus on ball handling, rebounding, footwork, and big-man play, and we encourage players of all abilities to participate and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This year’s camp will be led by former Biddeford High School standouts Will Harriman and Travis Edgerton, both of whom went on to play college basketball. Each coach will lead one night per week, bringing their experience and knowledge to help the next generation of players improve and succeed. All sessions will take place at the J. Richard Martin Community Center.

Kick Start Sports are designed for children ages 4–7 who are ready to explore the world of sports in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment. Whether your child is trying a sport for the very first time or looking to gain confidence in small group activities, Kick Start Sports provides the perfect introduction.Activities are carefully designed to help children grow in three key areas: Motor Skill Development – practicing age-appropriate movements like running, jumping, balancing, and hand-eye coordination. Confidence Building – learning new skills in a supportive setting that encourages personal progress and celebrates effort.
